Julio Jiménez Corral (Madrid, España, 1970)

Architect by training, he develops an activity based on experimentation and the mixture of disciplines.

Since 2005 he combines the orders he receives in his Madrid studio with photography.

What began as a mere documentary object has given way to a graphic work that feeds on architecture, cinematographic and literary influences.

In May 2008, he presented his work in public for the first time, exhibiting the "Escalas" collection at the "La Fábrica" gallery in Madrid.

During the years 2009 and 2010 he completed his training in the world of photography receiving courses at the University of California (UCLA) and at Julia Dean Workshop Los Angeles.
